Workday HCM Business Analyst
Role Type: 6-month contract (outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid (London-based, minimum of 2 days a week in central London)
Our client is delivering an exciting Workday transformation programme covering FINS, HCM and PSA. They are looking for an experienced Workday HCM Business Analyst/Consultant to join them.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering end-to-end HCM processes, helping the business to adopt Workday’s best practice.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, SMEs and the SI partner.
- Lead end-to-end business process analysis and design across HCM domains including Core HCM, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Recruitment, Learning, Absence etc.
- Contribute to Workday configuration workbooks (business processes, validations, rules, etc.).
- Prepare and support testing – from planning and scenario design to execution.
- Support change and training activities in collaboration with the Change Manager and SI.
- Confidently challenge both business and SI to ensure alignment with Workday best practices and efficient configuration choices.
Experience required:
- Proven Business Analysis experience on large-scale Workday programmes.
- At least two full Workday HCM deployments
- Deep understanding of HCM business processes and Workday configuration principles.
- Strong process design, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
