We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Project Manager to lead and support a strategic valuations initiative within a global financial services organization. This role will sit at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations, ensuring valuation-related systems, processes, and data flows are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong project management, a solid understanding of valuation processes across asset classes, and hands-on experience managing financial systems initiatives in a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of valuation-related financial systems initiatives, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication
• Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across finance, IT, operations, and external vendors
• Coordinate parallel workstreams across data, systems configuration, testing, and process design
• Partner with valuation, fund accounting, and finance teams to understand valuation methodologies, workflows, and reporting requirements
• Oversee implementation, enhancement, or optimization of valuation platforms, accounting systems, and related data sources
• Ensure system outputs align with valuation policies, models, and governance standards
• Act as a primary liaison between business users, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership
• Support valuation committees, audit requests, and regulatory reporting needs by ensuring strong documentation and controls
• Provide clear status updates, issue escalation, and decision support to executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in financial systems project management, preferably within asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or alternatives
• Strong understanding of valuation processes (e.g., Level 1–3 assets, fair value measurement, pricing sources)
• Hands-on experience managing implementations or enhancements of financial systems (e.g., accounting platforms, valuation tools, data management solutions)
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex initiatives in regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
