Job Title: OneStream Systems Administrator

What is the role and company?

A global business with a London office is undergoing some fundamental changes resulting in an increased demand for an additional headcount in their Systems Support team to help maintain the live environment whilst taking part in some of their development project initiatives.

The successful candidate will see themselves working with an established team of OneStream expert whilst gaining exposure to numerous OneStream modules. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to grow their existing OneStream experience, collaborating with highly experienced OneStream professionals.

What will I be doing?

•  Support the OneStream Support Manager to deliver small change and system re-configurations as and when required, particularly over times of high demand such as month end and budget.
• Troubleshooting and amending member formulas and Business Rules in C# or Microsoft Visual Basic.NET (VB.NET) where appropriate.
• Evaluate change requests and where required, submit to the design review board, proposals/suggestions of design for OneStream to meet business requirements.
• Control and manage metadata changes where necessary e.g. new Accounts, new Entities, and new Reporting Units.
• Provide third line system support including issue evaluation, prioritization, and resolution.
• Create knowledge documents / procedures to pass common support activities to WNS team.
• Ensures all recurring activities are executed and prepared for e.g. annual budget, month and year end processes and handed to WNS for execution.
• Support the maintenance of OneStream reports postproduction.
• QA production deployment document and ensure hand over to BAU support (small change and project deployments) is comprehensive.
• Execute configuration changes in test and production as allocated by the supervisor or senior management.
• Actively be involved with testing in the support of release or upgrade processes.
• Ensure OneStream controls are met with any new implementations or changes that impact user security and capability.
• Ensure BAU efficiency is achieved through continued review of system usability. Ability to recommend process improvements and present these clearly to key business contacts at all levels.
• Build strong working relationships with IT, WNS and business.

What profile will I require?

• 5+ years experience working with finance systems (experience with HFM and/or OneStream systems preferred)
• Experience working with complex finance system design requirements
• Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• User support, Trouble shooting, Systems configurations
• Experience of writing business rules with Vb.net or C# would be advantageous
• Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent preferred but not necessary
